Is PlaceIt Good or Scammy?

I’ve been looking at potential mock up softwares, and PlaceIt by Entavo seems like an awesome tool as I’m playing around on the free tier. The reviews are awful though due to the payment system.
Besides those who just mixed up monthly/annual billing, I’m seeing lots of people report that they were billed in random large payment amounts with no explanation. According to the subscription description, everything is fair game once you’re a subscriber- so you shouldn’t be billed a-la-cart for anything, and yet those overbilling mistakes are a significant portion of the reviews.
Has anyone had experience with PlaceIt? Is their billing system actually that sketchy?
Top Comment: Yeah, Placeit is terrible. They billed me right away for one year with no explanation. All templates are stolen from other places, platforms such as Teepublic and Rebbuble considering templates from Placeit as spam, and your account will be terminated, or downgraded to "Apprentice" which is not searchable. Stay away from Placeit, they are scammers.

best place to learn dotnet backend (asp.net core?)

Hello, I want to learn the backend of dotnet which I am 99% sure is asp.net core, their naming sucks btw. What would be the best place to go to. Are the docs on the official Microsoft website all that is needed for me to start building projects on my own for say a simple workout web app?
Edit: is it asp.net core or .net 8???
Top Comment: ASP.NET Core is the web application framework, and .NET 8 is the latest version of the entire .NET platform/framework, which includes libraries and tools for building not just web applications, but also desktop apps, mobile apps, cloud services, etc. The best place to learn it is on your computer.
